D18 at 2018 Women's March
Elizabeth Andrews and I went to the Toronto's Women's March on the 20th of January. It was a cool but sunny day for the event where 50,000 people attended. This years event was about defining our future. We heard several speakers, many of them speaking about how this has been a long fight for equality since the time of the women suffrage marches starting in 1916, and how that the work is not finished and we have an opportunity to shine a light on marginalization and gender inequality. It was a real treat to have a photo opportunity with Canada's Federal Leader of the NDP, Jagmeet Signh.
